One fee.
That’s the whole charge.

7% + $1.

On each paid ticket, added on top of your price and shown to the fan before they pay. Stripe’s card fee comes out of it, not out of your price. Free tickets cost nothing for anyone.

Any phone
runs the door.

Any phone is a scanner.

Open the Door tab in the app, or send door staff a one-night code and PIN. No account for them, and no money on their screen.

Every ticket gets in once.

Even when two doors scan the same code in the same second. A second scan shows when it was first used.

It keeps working without signal.

The guest list lives on the phone. Scans carry on when the signal drops, and when it comes back anything that needs a second look is listed for you.

Wrong night, told why.

A ticket for another night is refused with the reason, in words your staff can read out at the door.

Paid into
your own Stripe.

Card payments land in your own Stripe account, not ours. Refund a whole order or just some of its tickets, back to the original card.

Stripe pays you out on its daily schedule, usually starting about 2 business days after each sale. Your first payout can take 7 to 14 days (Stripe's figure).

Every buyer
is yours.

Their email, what they bought, when they came back. Export the list whenever you like.

We never market other organizers’ events to your buyers.

What organizers ask first.

What kinds of events is this for?

Anything people go to in person: club nights, shows, classes, suppers, markets, talks. Online events are not supported.

Do I need a plan?

No. There are no plans and no monthly fee. Every organizer gets everything, and the only charge is 7% + $1 on each paid ticket, paid by the fan.

When do I get the money?

Stripe pays you out on its daily schedule, usually starting about 2 business days after each sale. Your first payout can take 7 to 14 days (Stripe's figure).

Is there a card fee on top?

No. Stripe’s card fee comes out of our 7% + $1, so the fan sees one fee and you receive the full price you set.

What do free tickets cost?

Nothing, for you or the fan.

What happens at the door with no signal?

The scanner keeps working. Pick the night and the guest list is on the phone, scans carry on offline, and they catch up when the signal comes back. Anything that needs a second look is listed for you.

Can fans pass their ticket to a friend?

Yes, unless you switch transfers off for an event. The friend gets a new code and the old one stops working at the door. A transferred ticket can only be refunded by cancelling the event.

Can I run promo codes?

Yes. Make a code for an event: a percent or an amount off each ticket, for all tickets or some, with a limit and dates if you want them.

What happens when a ticket type sells out?

It shows as sold out on your page, and fans can join the waitlist. When tickets come back, because you add more or a refund puts one back, the next people in line get them held for 12 hours by default, or the time you choose.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. Your event page lives at encore.daytona-lab.com, under your name. You can put the ticket box on your own website with one line of code.

Is the attendee list mine?

Yes. Every buyer’s email and history, exportable any time. We don’t market other organizers’ events to them.
